Biodiesel Emissions Compared to Other Fuels
Fuel Types

In the table below, we give the emission characteristics of various fuels as compared to diesel. The numbers in the table reflect the percent difference for a vehicle traveling for a mile on that fuel as compared to a comparable vehicle traveling for a mile on diesel. The emissions are calculated using the Argonne National Laboratory’s GREET Model version 1.5a. This calculates the emissions of various gases for the entire fuel cycle. This includes the gathering of feedstock, fuel production, and tailpipe emissions. This type of complete analysis is often referred to as a well-to-wheel or fuel-cycle analysis.

VanHool - European Tour Coaches -
     We have a very unique opportunity to acquire a tour coach for 25,000. Coaches like this are usually in the 50,000 - 120,000 dollar range.  These coaches are superior to American coaches for obivous reasons. A VanHool from 1989 is like a Prevost or MCI from 1999. They were literally a decade ahead in coach technology. While MCI's and Prevost from the 80's and 90's were made based on heavy stainless steel skins and subframes, VanHool was already building light busses with steel frames and aluminum skins. They already graduated to huge oversized under-carriage bays. They had 2-3x the storage space beneath the floor which is a HUGE plus for touring groups and performers.
    The european design puts the driver lower to the road for increased visibility and a better feel. The whole coach handles like a sports car and turns much sharper than an American Coach. The body has a smooth and sophisticated look unlike american coaches.
    The engine in the coach is superior to other busses in the sub 40,000 range. Rather than an ancient 2-stroke design which smokes and leaks oil, we have a real 4-stroke inline truck engine. It is the design used by trucks as well. It doesnt smoke or leak oil and is easier to work on and more reliable. It has an inline fuel pump like a mercedes which is the proven champion for running on straight vegetable oil.
    Only because this bus is pre-1990 and has an easily fixed engine problem is it going for such a price. I have the part and mechanics who can have this done in 3 days.  The engine has a loose wristpin caused by a clogged injector. This is a minor issue. The engine is actually quite new with only 120k miles on the hub-odometer. When they rebuilt the engine they re-used the old injectors.. hence the injector failure an wristpin result. This easy fix gets you a european tour coach for 1/2-1/4 of the usual costs. This gives you a top notch base to work with and alot of captiol left over to invest in the conversion of the interior and veggie system.
    I have this bus lined up from a large bus company in Los Angeles. I need to act quickly before it is sold to someone else. RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!

This beautiful bus will surely be bought quickly. A coach of this caliber usually goes for 35-100k. It took U.S. and Canadian coaches about a decade to catch up to what VanHool was doing in 1989.. This means this coach looks nicer than late 90's american and canadian coaches costing 80k.
